How does Horlu really work?

Horlu adopts a content-first approach. This means Horlu designs around your content, as opposed to existing template-driven website builders. Our AI-assisted design algorithm helps our customers select the most usable images from their Facebook albums and creates a layout that fits their content.

What do I need to get started with Horlu?

All you need is a business Facebook Page! Try Horlu absolutely risk free. Pay only if you like what Horlu has created for you!

What if I do not have a Facebook Page?

You will need to have a Facebook Account. After logging in, you can use this link on Facebook to create a Page. We will help you set up a Facebook Page at an extra fee if you need.

I already have a domain, how can I use it with Horlu?

For a limited period, we will help you transfer your domain to Horlu so we can manage it for you. If you prefer to map the domain to Horlu and keep it registered on a third-party provider, we will email you with the relevant instructions to map the domain. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with domain mapping at this moment.

Does Horlu support Google Analytics?

Yes, you may insert the required Google Analytics snippet directly or, simply email us at with your name and domain name and your Google Analytics code snippet and we will help insert it for you.

Does Horlu offer email accounts?

Yes! You will receive 2 email accounts your Horlu domain. If you need to add an account during the month, the prorated charges will be billed to you accordingly.

What kind of web service does Horlu use?

Horlu uses Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) with Amazon Cloudfront and Amazon Route 53.

How safe is Horlu?

Each website created by Horlu has its own SSL certificate. All data are backed up automatically and regularly using Amazonʼs Elastic Compute Cloud Elastic Block Store Snapshots. All hosted websites are static and read-only to prevent injection of unauthorized code.

Iʼm on the Basic Plan, how can I upgrade my plan?

You can upgrade from Basic Tier to other serivce packages. Please email us at with your name, domain name and specific requirements. We will contact you shortly.

I would like to end my Horlu subscription, how can I go about it?

We are very sorry to see you go! Prior to terminating your plan, please decide if you wish to terminate and delete your website immediately or simply wish to pause your subscription temporarily. Please note that deletion is permanent and your site cannot be recovered. To terminate your Horlu subscription, you will need to write to us at with your name, domain name and your request. We will follow up and verify your request before proceeding with your instructions.

Whatʼs your refund policy?

If you terminate your annual within 7 days after weʼve received your payment, you will be given a 50% refund within 60 days from the day your termination request was acknowledged. We regret that we do not offer refunds for termination after 7 days from the first payment, monthly plans and renewal payments.

How can I get the best out of Horlu?

Horlu takes the content on a Facebook Page and turns it into a website. Horlu can create better designs and layout from Facebook Pages with sharp, high-resolution, well-composed photos. Horlu also reads the public details on the Facebook Page to create content, so you should fill out the details about his business on Facebook as much as possible so Horlu has sufficient content to create an informative and useful website.

How can I further customise my website?

You can add a new block, reorder your blocks, select different designs for different content, make block specific modifications, select and replace images from your Facebook Page, upload your own images, insert and edit text, change the fonts and overall spacing and margin. We are working really hard to add even more great features to Horlu.
